What is an Art Soiree?
A soiree (pronounced swah- ray) is described as an elegant evening gathering or get together with like-minded people to appreciate music. An Art Soiree has the same benefits. Soirees bring people together in the freedom of creativity, spontaneity, and pleasure. It is an opportunity for you, your partners and your friends or staff group to participate in an activity that is creatively satisfying and wonderful for the mind body and spirit.
Why have an Art Soiree experience?
Art Soiree’ evenings are specifically designed for those of you who wish to explore something creative, to take a break from your usual routine, and step into an imaginative, exotic location with delicacies and refreshments from that area, and listen to the gentle rhythmic sounds while you learn to paint step by step by an experienced enthusiastic arts educator. We have designed an ‘Art Soiree’ because the well-being benefits for you. It is different – it is new- and it is powerfully healing on so many levels. Above all it is a FUN night for everyone. I am yet to find someone who does not like them!
Here are some testimonials:

– Margaret B
‘It was not as hard as what I thought, I loved the food, and the music seemed to help me get into the mood’. – Brett C
Health and Well-being benefits of an Art Soiree
Firstly, research has been suggesting for decades now that creative activities relax the brain, by encouraging the release of endorphin into the body, making you feel good and happy. Being involved in creative activities is like a meditation- where you are using another side of your brain.
Secondly, your problem solving ability is heightened when the mind is relaxed allowing you to mentally perform better and solve problems. Decision making is usually more powerful after doing something creative. Ah Ha moments are more prevalent after creative rest.
Thirdly, creative activities have been shown to lower stress levels, lower blood pressure and relax the heart rate. Aside from the physical benefits, emotionally you will feel less drained and uptight and the spiritual benefits are realized as well when you feel you have more energy and you have more to give to yourself and others. When the body is relaxed so is the mind, and the Spirit is free and a natural sense of peace and abundance resides within you. When this happens, you begin to realize just how stressed our living style is, and this realization may pave the way for you to create a few positive changes in your life.
